Statement of Faith

1. SCRIPTURE
We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Scripture alone is sufficient for salvation, sanctification, and guidance.

2. THE NATURE OF GOD
We believe in one eternal, triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who is all-powerful (omnipotent), all-knowing (omniscient), and present everywhere at all times (omnipresent). He is sovereign over all creation, unchanging in His character, perfect in holiness, justice, wisdom, and love. The Father is the fountain of all things, who lovingly purposes and ordains all that comes to pass. From the Father the Son is sent in the fullness of time for our salvation, and from the Father and the Son the Spirit proceeds and is sent to apply the work of Christ to His people.

3. THE PERSON AND WORK OF CHRIST
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, of one substance with the Father and the Holy Spirit, who in the fullness of time took on a true human nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man, yet without sin. He lived a perfect life of obedience, died a substitutionary and atoning death on the cross for His people, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father, interceding for His Church.

4. SIN
We believe that sin entered the world through Adam’s disobedience, and that all mankind fell in him, inheriting both guilt and a corrupt nature. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Sin is not only the transgression of God’s law, but also disobedience to His revealed will and a corruption of our whole being. Apart from God’s grace, we are spiritually dead, hostile to God, and unable to please Him. Only by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit can we be set free from the power and penalty of sin.

5. SALVATION
We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, according to Scripture alone, to the glory of God alone. While we affirm the sovereignty of God in salvation, we recognize that the call to believe is universal and sincere. Christ’s atoning work is sufficient for all, and effective for those who believe. We uphold both the assurance and the evidence of genuine faith in a life increasingly conformed to Christ.

6. THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and who regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and gifts all believers. We welcome the gifts of the Spirit for the edification of the Church and the advancement of the Gospel, to be exercised in love and order.

7. THE CHURCH
We believe the universal Church is the body of Christ, comprised of all believers in every age. The local church is a visible expression of that body, where believers gather for worship, teaching, fellowship, and mission. We affirm the priesthood of all believers and the necessity of Spirit-empowered community and accountability.

8. MARRIAGE & SEXUALITY
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, designed as a lifelong union between one man and one woman. It reflects the relationship between Christ and His Church. Sexual intimacy is a gift of God to be expressed within this covenant. We believe God created humanity as male and female, a good and fixed gift, and that our identity is received from Him rather than self-defined. We affirm the inherent worth of every individual and call all believers to live with grace, truth, and holiness in matters of sexuality.

9. HUMAN DIGNITY & RESPONSIBILITY
We believe every person is made in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent dignity and worth, regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, or background. Though fallen in Adam and marred by sin, every human being remains accountable to God and is a proper object of neighbor-love, patience, and compassion. We proclaim the Gospel to all, trusting that God awakens hearts to respond in faith and repentance. As His people, we are called to defend the vulnerable, live justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.

10. THE RETURN OF CHRIST
We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of Jesus Christ at the end of the age. At His coming He will raise the dead, judge the living and the dead, and make all things new. This blessed hope motivates holy living, patient endurance, and faithful mission in the present.
